Access
Our goal is to spread the reach of different resources, such as the ability to communicate with peers in order to progress together academically, and make sure that students who may not know how to go about planning their futures have somewhere to start.
Information
By organizing career interviews and featuring articles to help students prepare for their own lives, we aim to make the high school experience go more smoothly by offering students more knowledge and insight into the realms of possibility following high school.
Success
Through the resources provided by collaborative communication and access to ample information, students will be able to advance in their education, understand the different paths they could take after high school, and make fully informed decisions about their future.
Sandhya Sankaran
Co-Founder
Sandhya Sankaran is a junior at Fremd High School and Editor in Chief at Forum. Sandhya is committed to empowering her local and national community with information that helps guide them to success. Outside of Student Forum, Sandhya is a talented Bharatanatyam dancer, pianist, and flute player; at school, she is a section leader in marching band and member of the musical honor society. Additionally, Sandhya is social coordinator in her school's speech team and news editor for her school newspaper. Sandhya is also incredibly passionate about STEM, hoping to pursue a career in the medical or engineering field.
Riya Bellur
Co-Founder
Riya Bellur is a junior at Fremd High School and Head of Outreach at Forum. Riya is passionate in ensuring that with the power of access and information, all students will be able to make educated choices about their future. Outside of Student Forum, Riya is passionate about both public policy and computer science, hoping to pursue a major in both. In school, she's in Principal's Advisory Board, NHS, and holds leadership positions in Speech Team and Literary Magazine. Outside of school she works as a coding tutor and is a part of Pale Blue Dot and Sonder Literary.
Harshini Senthil
Co-Founder
Harshini Senthil is a junior at Fremd High School and Head of Marketing at Forum. Harshini is an advocate for equal access to information, education, and resources that will help students feel more secure and confident in their future education, careers, and life. At school, Harshini is a member of Speech team, Society of Women Engineers, NHS, and holds a leadership position in Design Club. Outside of school, Harshini works as a tutor and is a skilled figure skater and flutist. Harshini is interested in STEM and is planning on pursing a career in the engineering field.
